Saturday, July 13 was a great day - my first San Diego Pride Parade! And it was everything I hoped it would be. It was overflowing with color, joy, laughter, diversity, and beautiful San Diego sunshine. A great day indeed.
There was definitely a lot of good people (and pet!) watching before the parade started.

Then the parade was kicked off with a huge group of motorcyclists.

In the end, isn't this what it's really all about - To care about each other and to treat everyone with respect and dignity, even if you don't share their views?

ReplyDeleteNo wonder Jenny is so cool with a mom like you! I almost died, our friend Dana from grad school is the tux wearing just married. Last time I saw her and the girls on bikes in the DC pride parade they were all topless!
